Oil Operated Trip Valve

Gimpel Corporation has manufactured Trip (or Stop) Valves continuously since its beginnings as a premier valve manufacturer. Primarily used on turbine generator set applications, these reliable, fast-closing valves have always been preferred where hand throttling was not required. But thanks to modern electronics, Gimpel Trip Valves can be outfitted with LVDT's and Servo Valves to provide positioning when an appropriate feedback signal is employed. Gimpel Stop Valves can be used on turbine inlets as well as high pressure and low pressure Induction and Induction/Extraction lines.
