That's why Sherwin-Williams developed new Opti-Check™ OAP Technology. Opti-Check OAP allows tank lining applicators to instantly identify pinholes, thin spots or any other discontinuities using safe UV light. OAP extends the coatings life by verifying a monolithic application and proper film thickness, eliminating coating application issues. The result: pinholes as small as 0.25 mils can be identified and repaired immediately during initial application before the tank is holiday tested and returned to service. Opti-Check OAP can be used as a one coat or two coat application, and is available with multiple Sherwin-Williams' tank lining materials, including:
