Packed Tower Scrubber

Croll-Reynolds Clean Air Technologies/Croll-Reynolds Company, Inc.ked Tower Scrubber utilizes a vertical counter-current design for efficient absorption of a variety of toxic gases. Utilizing modern packing designs to provide contact between gas and liquid streams, this scrubber achieves the low toxic gas discharge limits required to meet emission standards. In addition to its extensive uses in air pollution control, this scrubber can serve as a gas/liquid contactor in a number of process applications. It has efficiencies of 99.9% and greater. During operation, gas flows upward through a packed bed while scrubbing liquid flows down (by gravity) over the packing material. The counter-flow design principle offers optimal mass transfer.
