PP 1: Hydrotreating/Hydrocracking Reactors
Source: National Centre for Upgrading Technology
PP-1 (hydrotreating/hydrocracking reactors) is a bench-scale reactor system that consists of two reactors, an interstage sampler, a high pressure separator, a continous distillation column, and a stabilizer
Features:
- Maximum Temp: 450 C or 842 F
- Maximum Pressure: 180 bar or 2610 psi
- Feed Rate: 20-400 g/h or 0.04-0.88 lb/h
- Maximum gas rate: 300 NL/h or 11.2 SCF/h
- Recycle rate: 2-200 g/h or 0.01-0.44 lb/h
PP-1 (hydrotreating/hydrocracking reactors) is a bench-scale reactor system that consists of two reactors, an interstage sampler, a high pressure separator, a continous distillation column, and a stabilizer. PP-1 can be configured to simulate the most common commercial hydrocracker configurations, including once-through, series-flow, two-stage, etc. In addition, the reactors can be operated in either the up- or down-flow (trickle-flow) mode.
