Charles Ross and Son Co. offers the PreMax rotor/stator data sheet explaining new technology and present options
AT Plastics Corporationany%> offers the PreMax rotor/stator data sheet explaining new technology and present options for a wide range of applications. The PreMax is an alternative for high speed pre-mixing prior to downstream processing such as media milling. The design of the rotor/stator creates a high-energy vortex above and below the rotor/stator generator. The dual-vortex draws solids into the high shear zone, resulting in dispersions that routinely measure between five and seven on the Hegman Gauge.
Information on the data sheet aids processors in selecting optimal sizes and high performance options. Models range from a 2 in. rotor/stator diameter with a five to 20 gallon capacity to a 20 in. diameter and 500-1000 gallon capacity. More than 10 sizes are available for applications such as pigment dispersion and particle size reduction.
The data sheet lists options including a variable speed inverter drive for rotor speed control throughout the mix cycle, vacuum/pressure vessels, and custom operator control packages configured to conform to NEMA 12, 4, 4X, and 7/9.
