The instrument offers DC current measurement accuracy that is four times greater than that of the industry standard Fluke 87 DMM, and resolution that is an order of magnitude greater. This instrument is a suitable solution for troubleshooting and calibrating current-loop instrumentation. It features a rotary selector to choose the parameter to be measured and digital pushbuttons for other selections.

Some of its capabilities include:

  • Measurement of AC and DC volts, AC and DC current, resistance, continuity, and frequency
  • Sourcing and simulation of up to 24 mA of DC loop current
  • Ability to simultaneously display mA and % of scale
  • True RMS AC voltage measurement to 1 kHz
  • Frequency measurement to 20 kHz
  • Ability to record minimum, maximum, and average readings
