The Barton/Fuji FCX-A and FCX-C "smart" process transmitters provide accuracy and stability, as well as an analog-to-digital upgrade path, in units which are as much as 60 percent smaller than conventional transmitters.
Both the high performance FCX-A, fully equipped for demanding applications, and the basic FCX-C feature a linear, accurate and temperature-stable micro-capacitance silicon sensor. The sensor is isolated from pressure, vibration and temperature extremes through an advanced floating cell design which provides accuracy to ±0.075%, reliability and trouble-free operation.
This series is available in both traditional 4-20mA analog and digital (Hart protocol) versions. Upgrading from analog to digital is accomplished in the field using a plug-in communications module.
Integral indicators can also be analog or digital. Configuration of the units is by a host computer or an optional hand-held communicator.
