Refining Process Services has developed techniques for monitoring the technical and economic performance of the FCC, hydrotreating and catalytic reforming units. We use these tools to analyze the operating parameters of the various processing units operated by our clients. The information generated is used to adjust operating conditions to overcome unit constraints and maintain an economically optimized operation. Our philosophy for FCC unit optimization is described in more detail in NPRA Paper AM-93- 66 entitled, "New Optimization Tools and Technologies For The FCCU."
