The intensive, two-day workshop on "Advanced Gas Treating," conducted in informal small groups with hands-on, learn-by-doing instruction Oct. 18–19, will be preceded by a one-day, free learning session exploring predictive performance of advanced-technology simulation based on real-world, observed-fact modeling.
Participants will earn CEU credits for all sessions. The two-day workshop will present advanced concepts in gas treating, including amine blends, phosphoric acid additive, activated MEDA, piperazine and several other topics. Participants will apply simulation in numerous case studies requiring in-depth troubleshooting of real problems.
The free, one-day seminar Oct. 17 will focus on shale gas treating and carbon capture, and includes an introduction to ProTreat, Optimized Gas Treating's (OGT) mass-transfer rate-based computer simulation model.
