The CDH Thermostatic Steam Trap is a free draining sanitary trap that does not require vertical installation. It is available with horizontal inlet and/or outlet connections which may be swiveled to accommodate lines from any direction. These steam traps feature the most durable actuator available from any direction. The corrosion resistant welded inconel bellows has only one moving part and high tolerance for thermal and hydraulic shock.
The steam trap bodies are 316L stainless steel designed to drain completely without puddling and feature a self-centering valve for leak tight shutoff. White EPDM food grade gaskets provide superior performance for higher pressure steam applications. Available for ½ in. and ¾ in. services with a unique SLR orifice option which provides drainage at saturated temperatures, instant reaction to load changes and guaranteed fail-open operation for extra critical operations.
