Due to the current global instability in the refining and petrochemical industry, it is even more important for refineries and petrochemical plants to continue searching for new technology and upgrade opportunities. A number of Russian refineries are in particular need of upgrades given the new international fuel quality specifications. Complying with these regulations has become a top priority for fuel producers.
