SmarTrap steam monitor provides round-the-clock performance monitoring Unibody disc steam traps or any existing universal connector style trap. Equipped with a microprocessor-based electronic circuit, this monitor is able to detect the open/closed/open cycle period and store it in its memory. Once it establishes the trap's operating trend, it begins a 24-hour monitoring, signaling abnormalities in the pattern. Every six seconds, the SmarTrap alerts plant personnel of the trap's condition using three clear signals.
This monitor is rated for indoor/outdoor (NEMA 4x) hazardous classified locations. Intrinsically safe for use with Class 1,2 and 3, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D, E, F and G. Class 1, Zone 0, AExia 11 CT4.
