System 57 Takes Control Of Fire And Gas

Zellweger Analytics offers a wide range of control systems from simple single channel systems to custom made multi channel addressable systems. These systems provide facilities such as relay alarm outputs, audible/visual displays, voting, datalogging and other control parameters.

The System 57 mufti channel gas control systems from Zellweger Analytics has now been expanded to allow fire inputs to be connected as well as the normal range of gas detectors. The four zone 5704E fire card is designed to accept most types of flame, smoke, heat detectors and manual call points. Up to fifteen 5704E fire cards can be fitted into a single 19 inch rack allowing connection of up to 60 fire zones. The modular design philosophy in the systems means that fire and gas cards can be mixed freely in the same rack.

System 57 offers extremely flexible configuration allowing the user to define in detail the alarm operation of the system. An optional serial communications module allow connection of the system to DCS, PLC or SCADA package. Typical applications include offshore oil and gas platforms, petrochemical plants, oil refineries, chemical plants, water treatment, food processing and semi conductor FABs.
