TEL-FAST 2: A Pocket-Sized, Non-Contact Temperature Sensor

Tel-Tru Manufacturing Company introduces the Tel-Fast 2 a low-cost, non-contact, infrared thermometer that enables you to measure surface temperature without physically touching the item being checked. This time saving diagnostic tool delivers fast, accurate temperature measurement of moving objects or dangerous materials, thereby enabling temperature verification for safety and maximum performance. Tel-Fast 2 is a hand-held, battery-operated sensor that safely and accurately measures temperature using non-contact infrared technology.

Simply point at the desired target and press the "on" button for a temperature reading - no contact is ever needed. The total infrared energy emitted into the sensor is averaged from within a "field of view," where exact targeting is crucial. Laser sighting ensures the users the temperature sensor is focusing on the exact spot of the targeted area.

The infrared sensor operates at a temperature range of 0F to 750F (-18C to 399C) with a 2% accuracy of reading. The Tel-Fast 2 has a distance-to-target ratio of 10:1, with a 1-inch minimum target requirement and has a first temperature response time of 1 second. The sensor is designed with a continuous reading feature for thermal scanning and a 6-second temperature holding feature for viewing convenience.
