Brown Fintube Company line of TEMA-type heat exchangers is designed to provide twelve times or more the heat transfer surface per foot of tubing than conventional bare tube exchangers. These heat exchangers reduce tube skin temperature, thus minimizing fouling and sedimentation build-up. In addition, low metal temperatures lead to reduced corrosion. Brown Fintube Company line consists of Tank Suction and Line Heaters and Process Heat Exchangers. Available in shell sizes from 8 5/8 to 48-in OD, the tank suction and line heaters are suited for heating viscous fluids as they are removed from storage or pumped over long distances. With shell sizes from 8 5/8 to 36-in. OD, the process heat exchangers can be used for both light and heavy fluids ranging from higher heat transfer materials such as gases and light gasoline to heavy lube oil stocks and viscous chemicals.
