ZellwegerAnalytics Ltd., the first choice for fixed and portable gas detection equipment, have launched the latest in infrared point gas detection, the Sieger Searchpoint OPTIMA PLUS.
The new Searchpoint OPTIMA PLUS boasts advanced internal fault diagnostics and false alarm rejection algorithms; known as 42 Software which ensures the highest level of operational integrity.
Additional Searchpoint OPTIMA PLUS features include: discreet mA outputs forwamings and faults including contaminated optics, integral event logging, user configurable 420 mA output for interface with proprietary control systems and `Dynamic Heating Control' of optical components eliminating condensation build up.
Certified to the latest European ATEX directive and North American standards for use in potentially hazardous areas, the Searchpoint OPTIMA PLUS is used for the detection of a wide range of flammable gases and vapours.
Infrared gas detectors are unaffected by airborne contaminants which render catalytic based gas detectors inoperable and so are failsafe.
Searchpoint OPTIMA PLUS uses the proven Sieger dual channel fully compensated optical arrangement. This ensures the highest level of stability in the most aggressive operational environment, with the added benefit of being offered at an affordable price.
Typical applications include: Off and onshore oil and gas facilities, LNG/LPG bottling plants, Gas compressor/ metering stations, Gas turbine power plants, Solvent printing and coating plants, Distilleries and many more.
With over 20 years experience in developing, manufacturing, installing & maintaining infrared gas detectors, an unequalled installed base of over 30,000 Sieger infrared point gas detectors protect industrial and petrochemical plants worldwide, all supported by a global network of agents and distributors.
