The system connects to virtually any thermal balance and features a fast-response totally inert, heated inlet. Other standard features include: a detachable enclosed source for sensitivity and ease of servicing, two analog inputs, DDE capability to transfer data to application software, and GasWorks (a Windows 95/NT software package). Featuring a sub PPM detection limit, the system is suited for ensuring complete furnace purge prior to running gas sensitive samples, as well as measuring evolved gas analysis (EGA) to detect and identify the gas species generated during any TA sample run.
