The Tufline XP sleeved plug valve has two independent environmental seals
Xomox Corporationline XP sleeved plug valve has two independent environmental seals. The primary stem seal is around the top of the plug. The primary seal is provided by the interaction of the plug, the full circumferential PTFE sleeve, and the valve body. Adjustable in-line sealing is provided by this full circumferential PTFE sleeve. The secondary backup seal with live loaded packing rings provides back-up sealing to enhance control of fugitive emissions. This plug valve also has a shrink-seal lip that tightens as the packing shrinks.
