TS 01 Temperature Transmitter

ABB Automation Inc. Instrumentation DivisionN, a division of <%=company%>, is launching the new TS 01 HART-compatible Temperature Transmitter that can be mounted directly in a connection head close to the process.

The TS 01 is fully configurable for either RTD or thermocouple input by either a hand held terminal or laptop computer. It also provides for remote range changes and diagnostics checks while maintaining a 4-20 mA output so a technician can confirm sensor operational status from a safe location.

The TS 01 can also distinguish this from "over" or "under" range outputs. The Transmitter provides 32 point custom configuration of the temperature transfer characteristic to garner near perfect resolution for all critical temperature applications. Completely encapsulated electronics allows for operation in 100% humid and corrosive environments. The TS 01 can be supplied with a clip for high-density rail mounting or mounted in a connection head complete with sensor and thermowell. Connection head selection provides for NEMA 4X and Explosion Proof applications. The TS 01 is approved for Intrinsically Safe and Non-Incendive applications bearing FM, CSA and CENELEC approvals and the CE marking.
