Reformer Product Streams containing ammonium chloride and hydrochloric acid are a result of the refining process when the low octane refinery naphthas are converted into high octane liquid products. Left unchecked these unstabalized reformates cause: compressor corrosion, stabilizer plugging, and distillation tray damage; that eventually leads to costly capital and operating expenses. Our CHLOREX™ process is the FIBER-FILM® technology that has been developed to remove these inorganic chloride compounds from Unstabilized Reformates.
