Designed specifically for use when tapping and plugging a line, the SANDWICH Tapping Valve gets its name from its 3-slab construction. This unique arrangement provides a minimum face-to-face dimension, minimizing cutter and plugging head travel. It is intended for removal when the operation is complete.

Available in sizes 4" - 48" the valve flanges are designed to meet ANSI 150, 300, 600 or 900 class standards. The 4" - 22" valves are manually operated. Larger valves are equipped with a hydraulic actuator.
Unique features of SANDWICH Valves include:
- Bidirectional
- Over-sized bore
- Internal bypasses for pressure equalization
- Positive shutoff
- Drain connections in end-flanges.
