ZeroLeak Neldisc High-Performance Butterfly Valves

The ZeroLeak Neldisc butterfly valve delivers repeatable zero leak sealing for long periods in emergency shutdown and high-cycle applications. Its unique Neldisc floating seat provides mechanically induced sealing, which is not dependent on differential pressure, ensuring excellent bi-directional tightness even at very low pressures. The one-piece seat design has a large, cross-sectional U-profile ring that flexes to follow the shape of the elliptical disc upon closure. The ZeroLeak seat is never exposed to the rigors of the direct process flow and is virtually maintenance-free. Tough metal-to-metal seating with polymer-impregnated surfaces practically eliminates problems caused by flow particle buildup. Lower seating torque and non-rubbing seat geometry reduces wear and puts less burden on the actuator, allowing the use of smaller actuators and support structures.
